Overview

By following along in a tour of the CareerZone website, the participant will become aware of the purpose and strengths of this free tool for use with students in transition. The facilitator will demonstrate how a portfolio and a career plan are created using the CareerZone modules.

 

Who

Students, special education teachers, general education teachers, school counselors, transition coordinators, paraprofessionals, students, parents, and family members. This teleconference is open to all participating MTP school projects. See listed participating MTP projects

 

What

Participants will

  • be aware of the purpose, strengths, and limitations of CareerZone as a tool for use with students in transitions
  • gain comfort in navigating the CareerZone website

This training is limited to 11 phone lines, however, we encourage multiple participants to share a phone and an online computer to participate for this free live teleconference.
