Target Audience

Individuals responsible for, or interested in, providing quality Level 2 assessments for students. Individuals who feel that they do not know what to ask for in an evaluation or feel the Level 1 assessments they provide are just not enough. Appropriate for educational professionals.

 

Course Key Ideas

This is an intensive training designed to provide individuals the skills needed to complete Level 2 vocational assessments and write report results than can be easily translated into IEP plans.

  • Norm vs. Criterion referenced testing
  • Interest Surveys
  • Learning Styles Measures
  • Aptitude Measures
  • Documenting Behavioral Observations
  • Report Writing

 

Learner Outcomes

  • Participants will gain an understanding level 1, 2 and 3 vocational evaluations and what they entail
  • Participants will know when and why higher level evaluations should be done
  • Participants gain experience identifying vocational information present in school records
  • Participants will learn to give several paper and pencil surveys and tests to supplement and clarify information on a student
  • Participants will practice writing report information and IEP goals

 

Notes

This is an intensive 3-day training. Individual days are spread over 6 to 8 weeks to allow for practice and activity completion.
