Overview/Description

  • Identify why there is a need for effective communication and team-building
  • What are the essential tools and strategies needed to accomplish our goals and work within a community of practice?
  • Discuss the role of students and their Circles’ of Support in the decision making process
  • Who should be part of your team and why?

As students transition from the world of high school to find success as adults, it is most critical that families remain a strong circle of support. At the same time, students need to develop the skills and strategies to become independent. They must be an equal partner in the decision making process.
